Hi, I’m Chris Thomas — founder of Selkirk Ledger and a CPA with 15+ years of experience. I started this business because I believe every small business owner deserves clean, accurate books and someone in their corner who actually understands their finances.

I've spent my career working with numbers, but what I really love is working with people. I know firsthand how hard it is to build something from the ground up — the long hours, the uncertainty, the constant juggling of responsibilities. The last thing a business owner should have to worry about is whether their books are right.

That's why I started Selkirk Ledger. I wanted to bring CPA-level expertise to the small businesses that need it most — the contractors, roofers, landscapers, and service professionals in the greater Coeur d'Alene and Spokane area who are great at what they do but didn't go into business to stare at spreadsheets.
